The Vincent Motorcycle name is one of the most respected in all of motorcycling history. These motorcycle cufflinks pay tribute to that legacy.
A WWI fighter pilot named Howard Raymond Davies conceived the idea for the company during his time a POW after getting shot down by the Germans. Following his release, he founded the company in 1924 as HRD Motorcycles.
Shortly after, a young entrepreneur named Phil Vincent purchased the company and re-branded as Vincent Motorcycles. Within a few years, the company developed the reputation as the fastest production motorcycles in the world. Sadly, the company folded in 1955 due largely to a stubborn refusal to reduce production costs out of fear of compromising quality.
Today, Vincent models including the classic vintage motorcycle, the “Vincent Black Shadow,” are favorites among collectors, including Jay Leno who calls it his favorite motorcycle!
